Aldabe and M. Maritxalar 5 Results By means of this evaluation we intended to improve the automatic methods explained in section 3. The item analysis method was the basis of our evaluation. The item analysis method reviews items qualitatively and statistically to identify problematic items. The difference between both reviews is that the qualitative method is based on experts knowledge and that the statistical analysis is conducted after the items have been given to students. This paper is focused on the statistical analysis.
